At this stage in the pandemic, it seems like nearly all businesses are back to their normal day-to-day operations, even if the way they operate is not the same as it was pre-pandemic. Many employees around the world – especially those working an office job – had grown quite comfortable working from home. Despite that, many companies are encouraging their employees to return to the workplace.

Before you do that, there are plenty of things you might consider about the workspace you’re being asked to move into that your employer may not have considered. As we mentioned before, businesses have adjusted the way they operate due to the pandemic. Is your workplace equipped to have another employee (you!) returning to the building? Depending on the work you do, you may have unique requirements. Are there adequate electrical connections in place? How is the internet service? Are systems like lighting and plumbing set up for the specialized work you do?
