If you have trees near your home, you probably enjoy the lush and cosy atmosphere they provide, as well as, the shade and cool. There are some downsides to having trees too close to your home, however. If a tree becomes unhealthy, it could attract wood boring bugs that could spread to the wooden parts of your home. It could also become weak enough that it could fall over and damage your home. A tree is extremely heavy, and it can be very expensive to repair your home after a tree falls on it.
It is good to check up on the trees around the yard to make sure they are healthy. If the trunk of the tree feels damp or mushy, that is definitely a bad sign, and the same goes for a tree that loses all of its leaves or even loses the leaves on a few branches. If you decide to take down a tree, it’s always better to consult a professional, since it is very easy to make a mistake and end up with a tree that falls on your home, vehicle or even worse, on you or someone in your family.
